Poem: "Glory"
Glory
It amazes me
How you can flow like that
It's a mystery
Unceasingly
Spitting rhymes like you're Rumi
Speaking in poetry
Impressing me
With your words spilling lyrically
Truthfully
Out in front of me
It fits like symmetry
Lighting up my galaxy
Emotionally and spiritually
Defying what is gravity
And drastically
Changing the direction
I'd long been traveling
This has to be
The most insane thing
That's ever come to me
Too often we
Are left to live so lonely
And here you are
In essence holding me
Showing me
What shines brilliantly
Constantly
Essentially
And eternally
All around me
Protecting me and loving me
The way that I need to be
You must be the Glory.
The Glory that we've all been long awaiting
Lucky me
Lucky me, lucky me
For recognizing the divinity
Lucky me
That you have allowed your light to shine through to me
Radiantly
Lucky me
That defying natural gravity
You brought me out of my lost abyss
Lucky me
You saved me from drowning
Lucky me
You gave me breath so I could live
You gave me light that I could give
Lucky me
For recognizing the Divinity
You are the Glory.
