I am mother Daughter and sister From the time I'm born Everyone I see Is part of my family...

I am mother
Daughter and sister
From the time I'm born
Everyone I see
Is part of my family
My tribe and my clan
It matters not
That a child has yet
To grow in my womb
I am mother

All-loving life-giver
Before time began
The life potential
Existed in me
The line stretches back
And forward indefinitely
I stand in the middle
Arms outstretched
To circle humanity
Because I am mother

I stand not alone
In the emptiness of space
By my side is father
My children's guiding light
Gentle, strong
Son and brother
Equally different
Our souls are not
Male or female
But beings of devotion
We are the creators
Continuing life-force
History/future Keepers
Partners of respect
Because he is father
And I am mother
